KENYANS for KENYA is a massive fundraising effort which aims to raise KShs 500 million in four weeks, towards famine relief effort for over 3 millions kenyans suffering from hunger and starvation.

To support the Kenyans For Kenya campaign, Neema International e.V. requests you to join hands and support our brothers and sister who have been affected by the recent famine.

Every cent counts and will be fully and directly forwarded to the Kenyans for Kenya Bank account by the end of August 2011. We will then post a pdf to show a detailed transcript of how much has been donated in total. We are all about trancparency!

It’s been a wonderful first few days here in Kenya für Neemans; as you know, the first 4 days were set aside for the Mukuru project: we visited some families in the slums of Mukuru and got to hear their stories. On Saturday, the 3rd of September, we held a whole day workshop with the kids; i must say we’re blessed to have spent that time with those wonderful children who’s faces at the same time reminded us that we all have an obligation; help them achieve their dreams in future despite their current undescribable living conditions. It also reminded us of how some of us are really privileged! Stay tuned for the extensive report and picture gallery on our website and of course at the upcoming Neema Int. events when we return to Germany. Thanks a lot for your continued support.
